The National Political Science Honor Society
Sigma Xi Chapter

Pi Sigma Alpha is the national Political Science Honor Society. Membership is limited to Political Science majors who meet the following requirements:

Has COMPLETED at least 60 academic hours (current hours do not count);
Has COMPLETED at least 15 hours in Political Science (current hours do not count);
Of the 15 completed hours in PSC, at least 3 of them must be at the 300-level or above;
Overall GPA must be 3.3 or higher;
Major GPA must be 3.3 or higher.

If you meet the requirements, application forms can be found in the PSC Office and in Mr. Colbert’s Office (308 Curry). You must fill out the form and attach a current copy of your transcript. Concerning cost, national dues are paid by the PSC Department, but you are responsible for the annual local dues ($25 in check, payable to UNCG PSC Department, or cash).
