Jeff Colbert

Jeff Colbert is a two-time UNCG alumnus (BA in Political Science–December, 1984/Masters in Public Affairs–May, 1986) who began teaching at UNCG in January, 1988. He principally teaches PSC 100, 105, and 210, but also regularly teaches in the Warren Ashby Residential College and in the Freshman Seminar Program. He has served as an academic advisor at UNCG for more than 20 years. Jeff is also the department’s principal contact for alumni, as he is not only an alumnus, but also served on the Board of Directors of the UNCG Alumni Association and spent one year as President. His daughter and son-in-law also graduated from UNCG several years ago with an Elementary Education and Computer Science degrees, respectively. Jeff is an avid UNCG Spartan fan and can be frequently seen (and heard) at UNCG athletic events! He and his wife are active members of Cornerstone Baptist Church.
