How to Apply

To Apply to the MPA:  To access the application, go to the Graduate School website:   https://gradapply.uncg.edu/apply/ to start your application.  ALL the following documents should be uploaded to your application in the via the online Slate system no later than July 1 (fall) or November 15 (spring):

  1. Graduate application form (https://gradapply.uncg.edu/apply/)
  2. Complete the Supplementary Application information; this information is completed as part of the application.
  3. Transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate courses 
  4. Three recommendations – e.g. faculty, supervisors, professional colleagues
  5. Transcript of scores from the Graduate Record Exam (GRE). Applicants who have been out of college for three years or more may substitute the Miller Analogy Test (MAT)

NOTE: Applicants with a Master’s degree or at least a 3.5 GPA or above from an accredited college or university are not required to submit this test requirement.

To Apply to the Nonprofit Management Certificate:  To access the application, go to the Graduate School website:   https://gradapply.uncg.edu/apply/ to start your application.  ALL the following documents should be uploaded to your application in the via the online Slate system no later than July 1 (fall) or November 15 (spring) or April 1 (summer):

  1. Graduate application form (https://gradapply.uncg.edu/apply/) 
  2. Complete the Supplementary Application information; this information is completed as part of the application.
  3. Transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate courses
  4. Three recommendations – e.g. faculty, supervisors, professional colleagues

To Apply to the Urban and Economic Development Certificate:  To access the application, go to the Graduate School website:   https://gradapply.uncg.edu/apply/ to start your application.  ALL the following documents should be uploaded to your application in the via the online Slate system no later than July 1 (fall) or November 15 (spring) or April 1 (summer):

  1. Graduate application form (https://gradapply.uncg.edu/apply/)
  2. Complete the Supplementary Application information; this information is completed as part of the application.
  3. Transcripts of all undergraduate and graduate courses
  4. Three recommendations – e.g. faculty, supervisors, professional colleagues
